Our community midwives help to run antenatal clinics and classes and visits mothers with new-born babies at home.
Clinics are run at the Health Centre on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
The team approach of the Riverside Midwifery Service offers women-centred care that respects, values and supports informed maternal choice.
Surinder is our Community Matron. With her team she provides an invaluable service in the community and is a very valued member. Often a thankless role, Surinder manages her team very effectively, and we are very grateful to her for all her hard work.
