Assistant Practice Manager
The Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager work closely together to manage all business, administrative and non-clinical aspects to enable the practice to provide high quality care for patients. This includes human resource, finance, health & safety, facilities and equipment maintenance, information technology, and customer service.
The reception staff provide an important link for patients and are the initial point of contact for general queries. They can provide information on appointments, medical services and results, as well as performing other duties such as arranging the issue of repeat prescriptions, will deal with prescription enquiries, financial claims, and patient records.
The medical secretaries deal with all the doctors’ correspondence, including reports, referrals to specialists, as well as summarizing patient notes.
