|Dr Mick Watts|
MBBS (Lon) MRCGP
Registered in 1986 and works eight sessions a week. Dr Watts joined Datchet in 1990 and became Senior Partner in 2012. He is the practice lead for commissioning. Dr Watts is a clinical leader for Windsor Ascot and Maidenhead Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), and takes the lead in the locality for prescribing issues. He is a director of Windsor Medical Services Ltd, working to provide local medical services in the community. He has been a key influence in shaping many local medical services over the years, most recently on the board of the developing CCG until March 2012. Mick is married with two grown up sons and a new puppy. He enjoys sport both actively and as a spectator, having run the London Marathon on three occasions so far, in 2003 as part of Team Flora, and again in 2005 and 2008. He supports Harlequins and Chelsea.
|Dr Nicola Wallbank|
MA (Cantab) MB B Chir MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFFP LofC IUT LofCSDI PGCME
Nicola registered in 1992 and joined the practice in 1997. She works 6 sessions per week and has an interest in womens' health, family planning (including coil and implant fitting), antenatal and postnatal care and child health. She is a voluntary member of the Antenatal Screening Board at Wexham Park Hospital. Nicola is also a GP trainer. Outside of work she is a member of several amateur dramatics groups, enjoys playing tennis and attends trapeze classes at Circus Space. She performed in the 2012 Paralympic Opening Ceremony.
|Dr Ruth Ferguson|
MB ChB DCH DRCOG JCPTGP MRCGP PGCME
Dr Ferguson registered in 1997 (Birmingham). She joined the practice in March 2009 and became a partner in July 2011. Ruth works 6 sessions a week and her interests include teaching, palliative care and elderly care medicine, as well as joint injections. In the past she has travelled widely and worked in Australia. Her non-medical interests include tennis.
|Dr Harish Bijjala|
MBBS MD (Paediatrics) DFSRH MRCGP DPD
Dr Bijjala registered in 2002 and joined the practice in May 2013 and became a partner in January 2015. Harish works 6 sessions a week at the practice. He has special interests in paediatrics and dermatology. His non-medical interests include badminton and cricket.
Dr Simrun Gill is now working with us in her final year as a GP trainee. She works with us 4 days a week. Dr Jagdip Nijran is working with us until December 2016 as part of his training. Dr Zara Usmani has returned to complete her final year GP training and will be with us until November 2016.
The Datchet Health Centre now has a strong team of regular GPs (partners and salaried doctors). When these doctors are unavailable (due to holidays, sickness, their duties as trainers or other work on behalf of the NHS) we sometimes book locums. We are fortunate to have some highly skilled and committed regular locums who work with us.
